About Me

Ashley is a senior at Northwestern University studying Theatre and Global Health Studies with the Musical Theatre Certificate. A South Florida native, Ashley began dancing at age four and expanded her love for performance to musicals when she turned eight.

Her interest only grew throughout middle school and high school as she participated in several local children’s theatre productions, trained at several NYC-based intensives, competed in the Florida Thespians Festival, and even wrote for and was nominated for the regional South Florida Cappies Awards.

Her passion for theatre, particularly in musical theatre dance and choreography, really grew in high school when she dance-captained and choreographed her first musicals. At Northwestern, this interest was fostered further as she dance-captained and choreographed several musicals. She even received the honor to lead auditions and rehearsals for the university’s 2023 mainstage musical, The Prom.

As for her collegiate training, Ashley has had the privilege of learning from many Chicago professionals and has expanded her training to several NYC-based programs at notable places such as Steps On Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and Exactitiude Dance. Post-graduation, she hopes to continue this exploration of her craft in NYC.

Beyond theatre, Ashley loves indoor cycling (she is currently employed at SoulCycle), health and wellness, coffee (she is a certified Latte Artist), exploring new places, cooking, yapping with her friends, and listening to podcasts.

While she is currently based in Chicago and hopes to move to NYC by the end of 2025, Ashley also has local housing in Miami and Los Angeles.
